Firehouse Launches MyFirehouseTraining.com



Baltimore, MD – Cygnus Business Media's Firehouse announced the debut of MyFirehouseTraining.com, an online learning platform designed to provide training, coursework and CEU credits for firefighters. The announcement was made on the opening day of Firehouse Expo, the annual industry event for fire, rescue and EMS professionals produced by the Cygnus Public Safety Group.

The specialty portal was developed in partnership with Safety Solutions, Inc. (home of MyFirehouseTraining.com), a leading provider of emergency response, technology assessment, training and it's award-winning product "Hazmat Smart Strip". Safety Solutions has developed learning programs for major fire departments nationwide, including New York City and Miami, and has conducted training for the U.S. military, FEMA and NASA.

MyFirehouseTraining.com includes basic to advanced-level education—some developed exclusively by Firehouse authors and contributors—and covers a wide range of critical subjects, including skills and safety, EMS training, incident management, personal protection, urban search and rescue, extraction, high angle rescue, vehicle extrication, hazardous materials, NFPA standards and more.
