Features
- Personnel at this level will learn how to manage high-risk, high-profile, confined space rescue operations, including management of local, regional and federal rescue teams, size-up and operational strategy for confined space rescue. This is an advanced-level course. Techniques, procedures and skills would be presented that meet and exceed the following OSHA and NFPA standards:
- NFPA 1670 STANDARD - TECHNICAL RESCUE TRAINING AND OPERATIONS
- NFPA 1006 STANDARD - PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY FOR RESCUE TECHNICIAN
- OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 - PERMIT REQUIRED CONFINED SPACES FOR GENERAL INDUSTRY
- CAL OSHA STANDARDS
- AFOSH STANDARDS
- CANADIAN STANDARDS BOARD
Combination of lectures, hands-on activities, case studies and group work. Course Length: 40 hours.
