The primary goal of the US&R Grants Management course is to enhance the ability of the US&R Task Force to more effectively accomplish the administrative objectives for administering the yearly US&R readiness and response cooperative agreements through the entire lifecycle.  It is also the goal of this course to teach participants the essential elements of the laws, regulations and operational doctrine that govern the very dynamic US&R cooperative agreement (grant). 28 hour course

• Course Enabling Objectives
  At the completion of this course the student will:
  
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of personnel responsible for the administration of a US&R cooperative agreement/grant.
  • Apply laws and regulations that guide the US&R cooperative agreements.
  • Understand and apply the Code of Federal Regulation and the role in the Cooperative Agreement Process.
  • Have an understanding of all aspects of the Pre-Award, Post-Award, Response Phase and Closeout Phases of US&R cooperative agreements.
