Description
 
This hazardous materials operations-level course places
emphasis on the selection and use of respiratory protective
equipment, chemical protective clothing, and decontamination
techniques in the hospital setting.
Features
  • This course meets or exceeds all OSHA, JHACO, and NFPArequirements. Students will receive a combination of classroom and field instruction designed to achieve competency in conducting decontamination on ambulatory and nonambulatory patients while safely utilizing the appropriate personal protective equipment.

    Many hands-on activities, case studies, and group work. Course requires 8 hours
