Description

This course focuses on basic helicopter safety and
operations in using the helicopter as a personnel
delivery platform.

Features

Safety in and around helicopters is discussed including working in and around the aircraft, crew safety and survival, pilot-crew interface, and in-flight emergencies. Flight crew skid loading and unloading, rigging specific helicopters for rappel and actual rappel operations using drop and leg bags are performed.

Many hands-on activities, case studies, and group work. Course Length: 16 hours
