Features
- Special attention is given to bus and truck extrication and the specialized skills and equipment needed to perform complex extrications.The program also gives the student an introduction on how to safely extricate patients who have become trapped within heavy machinery.The course focuses on the various types of chain and belt driven machines that are seen within manufacturing facilities and the various types of commercial equipment that typically causes patient entanglement. Additional training in Crush Syndrome and trauma management are also conducted.
